Add Em Up

"An impossible routine involving four spectators!
You've heard the phrase made infamous by magic dealers, ""Packs small; plays big!"" Add 'em Up lives up to these words!
Invite four spectators onstage to assist you. Introduce a clipboard; the kind they may see hanging in a kitchen. Ask the first person to jot down a three digit number. Have the second person do the same just below the first set of numbers. The third person does the same. You give the board to the fourth person and simply have them add up the numbers. During the entire performance, a prediction envelope has been hanging from the ceiling in plain view. The envelope is lowered and one of your spectators is asked to open the envelope and read the prediction. The prediction matches the random total of all of the numbers! It doesn't get much stronger than this!"

When the spec. looks, they cannot find their signed card. The performer apologizes for not finding the signed card and blames his error on a late night reading a mystery novel. He said he had been using a playing card as a cheap bookmark. The performer says, ""I got a lot of reading done last night, would you like to see where I left off?"" The performer removes the book from his back pocket and runs through the pages until he comes to his bookmark. When the bookmark is removed, it is seen to be the spectators signed card!

By Choice & By Chance

"You give a spectator a small pocket dictionary. They can examine it all they want and they will not find anything, because it is legitimate! You give them a pair of dice - also legitimate. They roll the dice until they are content. Say the numbers are 5 and 4. They have the option to combine the numbers for a total of 9, 54, 45, or when multiplied 20. They control all the options! Once they choose their number, they turn to that page in the dictionary and concentrate on the first word. As they do this, you write your prediction down on a page in a small notebook. Throw the pad onto the table face down. Ask the spectator to reveal their selected word, and then turn over your prediction. It is a dead match. Instantly repeatable. No reset involved. Diabolically clever! Buy it!"

Color Cube Demonstration

"Color Cube Demonstration is an impressive display of mental powers that will have both magicians and laymen scratching their heads in amazement! Three different colored boxes are shown, each with their own respective lids and colored blocks inside. For instance, a green box has a green cube and a green lid, a red box has a red cube and a red lid, and a blue box has a clue cube and a blue lid. The performer either stands with his back turned, is blindfolded, or leaves the room entirely, while the spectator is instructed to place ANY colored cube into ANY colored box, and cover it with ANY colored lid until all the boxes are filled and topped. All the boxes are then rubber banded for security and placed inside a black, ungimmicked, OPAQUE drawstring bag by the spectator all while the performer is out of the room or blindfolded. Immediately, the performer returns and divines which colored cube is nested within which colored box, topped off with which colored cube, all without opening the opaque bags at all! There is no fishing of any kind; the gimmick provides the information for the performer, allowing him to concentrate on the performance itself! Incredibly easy to perform, this is one of those rare effects that works in any performance situation ranging from children's shows to stage presentations! And the best part is that everything can be examined thoroughly by ANYONE, and they will find absolutely nothing. Color Cube Demonstration comes to you from Argentina and is supplied complete with everything needed, including a bonus routine specificly geared for children's performances - and a special hand puppet to accompany that routine."
