Business Minded

"Call it a Poor Man's Thought Transmitter if you will, but the effect is the same only done with business cards! This is from Bob Solari. Bring out a stack of business cards bound with a rubber band. Remove a card and draw a crystal ball on its back. Have a spectator draw anything they wish in the center of the crystal ball. They slide the card into the center of your pile of cards face down. You remove a second card and draw the same picture of a crystal ball. Focus on their thoughts and begin to duplicate their exact drawing or writing. The effect and working is so good that Steve Dusheck has included it in his forthcoming magic book on business card magic!"

Card Sandwich Trick

OK! So the name is a little drab! The effect is strong! It's also a great way to lead into an Ambitious Card routine. An audience member selects and signs a playing card...NO FORCE. Two jokers are removed from the deck. The signed card is lost in the deck. Each joker is then inserted face-up into the deck at completely different intervals. A quick riffle of the cards and both jokers magically travel to the center of the deck. One card is found between them. You guessed it! It's the spectator's signed card! Ideal for walk-around! The gentelman on the clip is Mark Zacharia. Mark has been a long-time friend of The Trickery and performs professionally out here in Jersey.

Centre Tear

"One of the most startling impromtu tricks you can do with a borrowed dollar! Borrow a dollar and rip out the center portrait of the president. Put the torn piece in your mouth and chew it up! As you blow on the dollar bill, the center portrait magically appears and the dollar is fully restored! This has been one of my favorite impromtu tricks for many years. The audience reaction is nothing less than amazing. You'll love it!If you like Hoodwink, or Blaine's Quarter Bite, this one is even stronger!"

Elevator Cards

"I've always enjoyed things that are simple to do and create a huge impact on an audience. Elevator Cards is pure, simple and most magical! The magician removes eight cards from a deck of cards; Ace, Two, Three and Four of Spades, and four face cards. The cards are separated into two piles, one containing the face cards and the other cards which are sorted into numerical order. These are turned face down on the table. The magician picks up the face cards and spreads them, inserting the Ace or the Number One card one down from the top of the face cards. The top card is tapped and the magic happens. The Ace is now on top! The Two of Spades is placed two cards down from the top. With a magical tap, it, too, has elevated to the top of the pile! This is repeated with the Three and Four; each card is inserted into its numerical position between the face cards. Magically, each has elevated to the top! The handling is easy and the effect strong! If you like Ambitious Card type of effects, you will certainly love Elevator Cards!"

Imagine This!

"Imagine this! An easy 4 ace production! Tell the tale of a great gambler who was able to do extraordinary things with cards...and people. Just by reaching into the center of the mixed deck he was able to cut to an Ace. The first Ace is shown. Rumor has it the gambler can control the thoughts of people. You riffle the cards and have your spectator say stop. They remove the card. It is the second Ace. The Gambler was so in tune with his cards that he was able to look at deck and know that an Ace occupied the 28th position from the top. Cut the cards at this point. In fact he was so good with the pasteboards he would cause that Ace to travel through the other cards right to the top of the deck! Riffle through all the cards in the top half. Your hand comes away with the third Ace. Not only could The Gambler control the thoughts of a person he could control their actions. Have your spectator cut to the final ace! The difference between the download and trick... The trick uses a very specially gaffed card that is undetectable even when handled by an audience member and also includes a full deck of cards. The download version uses a variation, though the handling is the same."

Poor Mans Linking Rings

"This is one of the most amazing close-up pieces that will get you serious reactions from your audience. The unlinking effect dates back more than 100 years ago when the effect was done with catgut. Performed on television countless times in recent years, this is one you will want to learn! It truly looks like real magic! What makes this version different is the subtle twists on the handling. Most versions only focus on the unlinking part, this one also allows you to link the bands! This clip features Brian, one of The Trickery Interns."

Solari's Matrix

"Coin Matrix routines have been around longer than most of us have been here. Solari's Matrix takes some standard moves and enchances them with a simple clever gaff that you can make at home in minutes. The basic premise is that four coins are placed in the four corners of your close-up mat. Each is covered with a card. Magically, one by one the coins travel and meet under one card. Bob's version also includes a reverse matrix, where each con travels back to where it once began. As a finale a jumbo coin magically appears from the playing cards. You are given step by step instructions on how to make the gaff, all of the moves and presentation. In addition to this download, you will need a large coin for the finale. This can be a Silver Dollar or jumbo coin. Playing cards and coins are also needed.. Any currency can be used. Zipped file size is 20.2 MB.The zipped file contains two WMV files for Windows Media Player. Skill level is intermediate to advanced."
